Deliver a ‘Best Expression" merchandise assortment strategy, leading the cross-functional team through the seasonal planning process, and approving seasonal buy plans that are aligned to the sales plan and financial forecast.
Drive locally relevant consumer experiences, products & initiatives that meet the diversity of the consumer and marketplace, and impact our overall Brand presence
Lead Direct Marketing strategy & investment (demand creation) in partnership with Geo/Territory Brand, creating a compelling multi-channel consumer experience (social, SEO, paid search, among others) in order to achieve targets for traffic, demand, investment and return on ad spend
Drive Analytics, Consumer Insights, and Site Merchandising, reading specific traffic patterns and campaign outcomes to know and serve our consumers while continuously improving KPI’s
Deliver on locally competitive cart-to-home experience for consumers including fulfillment strategy, payment, delivery, and Consumer Services
Set and deliver ‘high-heat launch’ strategy in alignment with Category & Brand strategy
Lead in-season management of Territory’s Digital business; includes weekly Integrated Digital meetings & coordination of ‘Digital Live Ops for real-time read/react
Accountable for the channel's inventory management, striving to optimize inventory levels to support and achieve sales and profitability targets, by requesting and/or approving order cancels, returns and additional shipments, and by accelerating product sell-through with site merchandising efforts, markdowns and promotions.
Partner with Territory Leadership team to drive comprehensive marketplace strategy with responsibility for the Digital Marketplace strategy

Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital commerce, digital marketing, brand marketing, or related field
Broad leadership skills to manage and interface effectively across multiple levels of leadership
Strategic, forward thinking, able to deal with ambiguity. Ability to influence across the matrix in a fast-evolving industry
Deep understanding of the regional E-commerce landscape, as well as global and local industry trends
Cross-functional project management skills, self-starter and accustomed to leading projects with little supervision
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on results and ability to take effective decisions
Good analytics and business skills and experience of consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources
Solid experience in managing Digital Operations and Digital Commerce platforms, with a proven track record on delivering elevated experiences to consumers digitally
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to create connection with multiple stakeholders

About the position
As Nike Direct Digital Commerce Director, you will drive the end-to-end Digital Offense across SOCO, setting and leading the vision and the strategy for the Digital Commerce business as part of an elevated and integrated marketplace strategy. You will own and drive the NDDC business results in a way that puts the consumer at the center to drive revenue and profitability.
You will serve as a primary business partner within the SOCO organization to drive a comprehensive end-to-end digital commerce business across SOCO, collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the digital commerce business, including business & financial planning, performance marketing, site merchandising, business analytics, IT and operations. You will focus on Nike.com and SNKRS and leverage other digital products & apps such as NRC and NTC, along with O2O (omnichannel) and New Commerce initiatives connected to Nike.com.
You will be accountable for driving the strategic implementation of the digital consumer experience working in partnership with global and regional stakeholders, as well as in partnership with 3rd party service providers. In addition to that, you will be responsible for the leadership and direction of a team, and you will coach, guide and develop direct reports, creating an environment where employees are encouraged to perform at their potential and where diversity is respected and encouraged.
This position requires a highly motivated and hands-on Digital Commerce Director, with a strong understanding of the digital commerce landscape, both locally and globally.
