ManpowerGroup Value Stream Leader - 2nd shift in Olive Branch, Mississippi
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Value Stream Leader to join their team on a 2nd shift. As a Value Stream Leader, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting multiple plant value streams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Value Stream Manager
Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654
Pay Range: $75,000-85,000 per year
Schedule: M-Tr, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM / Additional hours on F, Sa, Su may be required or requested.
What’s the Job?
Lead plant value streams in daily operations and continuous improvement, including supply chain, production control, and manufacturing priorities.
Instill and maintain a positive team atmosphere that encourages team member engagement and empowerment.
Meet regularly with team members to address challenges and solutions, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety, 5S requirements, and standard work processes, implementing necessary adjustments.
Provide effective cross-training to team members to ensure business stability and support future state value stream maps with Operations and Lean Leadership.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree.
3-5 years of management or supervisory experience.
Business acumen in operations, accounting, human resources, and supply chain.
Demonstrated teamwork and team-building skills with the ability to assess and develop individual and team capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in Lean manufacturing or leading Lean initiatives preferred.
