Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Old Mystic, Connecticut. This role involves providing level 2 support for both educational staff and less experienced technical staff, coordinating inventory, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware, networks, and software, and escalating issues promptly for resolution when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide level 2 support to both educational staff and less experienced technical staff.

• Review and prioritize work order requests and manage time appropriately to provide high levels of customer service.

• Coordinate inventory, maintenance, and repair of all district computer hardware, networks, and software.

• Escalate issues to supervisory positions promptly when unable to remedy.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of computers, including experience with hardware, software, and modern data networks.

• Leverage experience with Google Suite for Education and other educational technologies for end-user support.

• Utilize strong experience with macOS and Windows latest operating systems.

• Apply knowledge of Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, and Desktop Hardware.

• Draw on industry certifications such as Comptia A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, and MCSE to provide efficient and accurate support. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar

• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required

• Knowledge and experience in working with Databases is important

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is essential

• Lotus Notes proficiency is needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products is necessary

• Knowledge and experience in Active Directory is required

• Experience in Computer Hardware is necessary

• Configuration Management skills are essential

• Experience in Deskside Support is required

• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware is important

• Comptia A+, Network+, Security+, Server+ certifications are preferred

• MCSE certification is an advantage

• Proficiency in Google Suite is necessary

• Must have skills in End-User Support

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work independently and also as part of a team

• Strong customer service orientation is required
