General Responsibilities:

In this role you will perform a variety of project accounting activities including entering, reviewing, processing, auditing, and reporting information. Understands the system and brings issues to the attention of the Supervisor for assistance and further evaluation. Also responsible for providing customer service to employees, office staff and management for subject matter related items.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, responsible for all aspects of the weekly project accounting processing including, but not limited to, entering data, running processes and auditing reports.

  • Responsible for the timesheet processing for assigned divisions and for reviewing/balancing the company reports.

  • Work with the payroll department on investigating timesheet problems and on timesheet adjustments.

  • Responsible for sending e-mails to employees and supervisors for timesheets that are missing signatures and/or approvals.

  • Assist with cash application. Apply cash receipts (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit card payments) to client invoices.

  • Assist with client account reconciliations, reviewing on-account balances, and preparing client refund documentation

  • Responsible for entering misc. charges, project transfers, and timesheet adjustments.

  • Provide day to day assistance to offices regarding timesheet processing and project accounting questions.

  • Responsible for other general including, but not limited to, verifying and coding agency invoices.

  • Responsible for assisting employees who call the application support helpdesk.

  • Research and analyze write-up/write-down differences greater than the set limit for assigned divisions.

  • Run the processes and balance reports related to the weekly project accounting processing.

  • Work with IT and direct supervisor on resolution for processing problems and report issues.

  • Assist with the review of new clients and the merging of duplicate clients,

  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience.

  • Good knowledge of accounts receivable and job cost expenses

  • Strong accuracy with data entry

  • Good knowledge of Excel and general computer skills

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
