A Day in the Life:
The Corporate Platforms Manager – Fleet Planning & Risk Depreciation is responsible for the overall administration and support of the Oracle Essbase, Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Management Reporting (MR), EPM Automate, SmartView, and interfaces.
What You'll Do:
The Corporate Platforms Manager – Fleet Risk Systems will lead all aspects of strategy and operations for the Fleet Risk System and Fleet Risk Depreciation Platforms.
Manage the day-to-day technical administration of the Oracle Essbase, and EPBCS, for the global corporation.
Maintain outlines, metadata, business rules, scripts, and other objects within Hertz Fleet Risk Systems and EPBCS as business requirements change and migrate objects across environments.
Manage all system functions as they relate to supporting forecasting and budgeting.
Interaction with Hertz Fleet and Accounting teams to support the use of Oracle Essbase, EPBCS, and Oracle ADW Database.
Oversee timely support and issue resolution, most critically during monthly / quarterly / annual close periods, the risk analysis and planning periods and financial planning cycles by coordinating with teams in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Own the analysis, design, and development of new reports and system enhancements for projects.
Create and maintain interfaces and automation as needed.
Create and maintain up to date documentation for the Fleet Risk and EPBCS applications.
Understanding shared services components for provisioning users via groups and knowledge of Life Cycle Management for promoting apps from Dev to QA to Production.
Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of rules logic, forms, and scripts in Fleet Risk Systems & Risk Deprecation Engine.
Maintenance of mapping logic.
Creation and maintenance of reports with proper documentation and reconciliation. Ensure the reports are optimized.
Processing and tracking metadata changes.
Manage the controlled processes for loading and validation of data.
Liaise with the IT support group to support system, servers, upgrades, and patches.
Creation and implementation of process improvements which includes testing, validating and documenting change process.
Provide training sessions and documentation for all end users of the Fleet Risk Systems and EPBCS.
New user set-up and monthly review of existing users’ security rights.
Assist with system configuration to support acquisitions, divestitures, and accounting changes.
Collaborate with business teams to improve and expanding the Hertz Fleet Risk System & Risk Depreciation Engine.
Ensure compliance with all Corporate Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and SOX requirements.
This position seeks to pay between $125,000 and $135,000.
What We're Looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology. MBA preferred
3+ years of experience administrating and supporting EPBCS, Oracle Essbase, and ODI.
Experience with Oracle EPM/BI Cloud Products and Solutions (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, CDM, NR, and Essbase) a plus
Experience working with Management Reporting (MR), Workspace, Calc Manager, Rules, Grids, Webforms
Experience with supporting business users with SmartView
Trouble Shooting, Tuning, Disaster Recovery, Backups and Restore, Security
Knowledge of other Financial Systems: Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle General Ledger
Knowledge of other Analytic Systems: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Business Intelligence
Documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
Effective project management, process planning and implementation skills
Strong accounting knowledge (journal entries, T-accounts, impact to financial statements, EBITDA) highly desired
Experience with archiving, tuning and migration
Programming knowledge: MDX, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, HTML, Visual Basic, Essbase scripting, Groovy Scripting and Jython desired
