Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The candidate will serve as a maintenance technician for an industrial plastic conduit manufacturing company. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as preventive maintenance on various machinery. The primary focus will be on the extrusion lines to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on various machinery.

  • Work mainly on extrusion lines involving bending, heating, and cooling plastic to maintain smooth production.

  • Utilize knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in daily tasks.

  • Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in plastic manufacturing maintenance.

  • High voltage experience.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance on a variety of machines.

  • PLC experience including troubleshooting and repair.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial plastics manufacturing plant that is indoors and non-climate-controlled. Shifts available include D-Shift: Thursday and Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off. A Shift: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a rotating schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, and 2 days off. B Shift: 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM with a rotating schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, and 2 days off. C Shift: 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM with a rotating schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, and 2 days off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
