JOB SUMMARYHe/ she will perform duties for the smooth operation of the parts department, such as data entry and ordering parts to maintain inventory control.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Control for parts department, which includes posting receipts and inventory adjustments on in-house computer system.
Reconcile and code packing slips for receipts with vendor billings.
Create vendor orders as necessary and input into various vendor systems.
Record and file discrepancy reports with vendors and follow up on status of credits.
Calculate and record variances, and file with vendor for credit if necessary.
Type letters and emails for parts department as needed.
File paperwork for outstanding RGR’s and MDR’s in a timely manner.
Works with Parts manager to record data for periodic inventory reconciliations, and annual inventory.
Work with shipping and receiving department to insure parts are received correctly according to our established guidelines, and that this is done in a timely manner.
Finalize billings and codes invoices for the AP office.
Weekly Reconciles and maintains open PO’s created in Parts
Daily checks of our receipt history
Place daily emergency orders with vendors and works to follow up on backorder items.
Weekly collaboration with the Parts Manager to reconcile the Factory receivable schedule and insure credits are received in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
He/ she is responsible High school diploma or equivalent. Will have to stock miscellaneous parts under parts and shop counters, also help shipping and receiving clerk to receive and stock parts. Due to some stress, applicant must have the flexibility to handle stressful situations.
