The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry Level Customer Support Engineer to support the C-32/C-40 program with Boeing Global Services in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Responsibilities:
Reliability and maintainability analysis, logistics analysis, statistical analysis, substitute parts analysis, market research and system/part sustainability analysis, and database improvements and/or updates.
Researches and develops engineering updates of simple technical in-service issues.
Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications.
Researches fleet data to uncover potential improvement areas.
Collects and evaluates data on customer findings of the recurrent product support issues.
Works under supervision.
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science related field
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Experience with U.S. Air Force or aviation maintenance practices and experience partnering with government customers to deliver services and products
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
