Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma .

Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2:

  • Participates in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations

  • Gathers and reviews data for use in supplier performance evaluations

  • Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues

  • Provides support in the development of mitigation plans

  • Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance

  • Supports the development and implementation of supplier project plans

Position Responsibilities – Mid-Level 3:

  • Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations

  • Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies

  • Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities

  • Develops mitigation plans

  • Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities

  • Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • More than 1 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Access application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets, Access Reports and Data Pulls, training documentation

  • More than 1 years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

  • More than 1 years of experience in Supply Chain Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

  • More than 3 years of experience with Supply Chain practices and processes

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range Associate Level 2: $65,450 - $88,550

Summary pay range Mid-Level 3: $82,450 - $111,550
