Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves managing and mentoring a team to ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting processes, specifically in 3-way match processes and utilization of MAS 90 accounting software. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the 3-way match process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Review purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices to verify accuracy and completeness.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices.

• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to address issues and improve process efficiency.

• Utilize expertise in MAS 90 accounting software to maintain and update financial records and transactions accurately.

• Generate financial reports and analyses as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to MAS 90 functionality.

• Manage the accounts payable function, including supervising and mentoring accounts payable staff.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Review and approve payment batches and vendor reconciliations.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing analysis and insights as needed.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function, particularly related to 3-way match processes and MAS 90 utilization.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.

• Collaborate effectively with other departments, including purchasing, receiving, and finance, to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Requirements • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in an accounting management or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in accounting management are essential.

• Proficiency in Sage MAS 90 software is required.

• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching is desired.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Strong leadership qualities and team management skills are required.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Must possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, is required.

• Must have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.

• Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation is required.

• Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases is desirable.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.

• Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports is necessary.
