DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as a FSR supporting the Program Executive Office Land Systems, Project Manager Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), Product Manager Extensible MAGTF Command and Control (EMC2), Network On-The-Move (NOTM) Family of Systems (FoS).

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

The NOTM FSR will be responsible for providing fielding support, post-fielding support, training support, and other support as directed by the EMC2 Integrated Product Team. Specific tasks for this position include:

  • Provide the support in network configuration, Satellite Communications (SATCOM), and multi-user systems

  • Provide Onsite Briefings for all unit personnel

  • Participate in instructor and key personnel training

  • Provide field integration support and NET for all fielded NOTM systems

  • Configure AN/PRC-117G RF military radios for operations in an Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2) network

  • Configure Riverbed WAN accelerators for use with the NOTM system

  • Update and modify settings on Multi-Point-Modem (MPM-1000/2000)

  • Configure Cisco 59 series and 29 series routers and switches

  • Configure 802.11b/g wireless and 802.11a Wide Area Networks (WAN)

  • Support NOTM training as requested by fielded units

  • Field approved Engineer Change Proposals (ECP) and provide associated operator training

  • Conduct fault isolation and identify/verify faults reported by users

  • Coordinate Hardware/Software Replacements and Repairs

  • Remove and repair faulty Lowest Replaceable Units (LRU)

  • Support and maintain training material updates, to include Computer Based Training materials

  • Ensure inventory of spares are maintained per government guidelines

  • Support exercises and test events as directed

  • Participate in engineering and logistics Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings as required

  • Participate in weekly conference calls with the program office and FSR team

  • Maintain FSR Service Request forms, monthly reports, and other information deemed necessary by the program office

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • In-depth knowledge of the network configuration, operation, installation, and sustainment of NOTM GCV systems and components currently fielded (Desired)

  • In-depth knowledge of the network configuration, operation, installation, and sustainment of NOTM-A systems and components on the C-130 and MV-22 aircraft (Desired)

  • Familiarity with Routing: Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN), Next Hop Resolution Protocol (NHRP) (Required)

  • Familiarity with SATCOM: KU and KA bands, Network Centric Waveform (NCW), Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) for testing (Desired)

  • In-depth knowledge of Marine Corps maintenance structure and resources

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and wiring /cable routing diagrams

  • Ability and experience training Marines in both a classroom and real-world practical application conditions

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior Marines

  • Ability to accomplish tasks in a United States Marine Corps environment

  • Understanding of United States Marine Corps rank structure, roles, responsibilities, and protocol

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Desired) with two (2) – four (4) years’ experience

  • Active CompTIA Security + certification

  • Experience/knowledge in cable routing such as the capability of performing vehicle installation procedures

  • Experience with troubleshooting cryptographic equipment, while alongside Marines and Electronic Key Management System personnel

  • Experience operating and supporting EMC2, expeditionary networking, radio, and satellite communications systems, to include system set up/configuration, troubleshooting, and fault isolation

This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 20% mostly to Marine unit locations (camps) on Island.
