Dobson Fiber Sales Operations Manager in OKC, Oklahoma

The Sales Operations Manager will be a key player in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations to meet and exceed our revenue and subscriber targets. Having expertise in sales processes, Sales Team Support, and cross functional collaboration will be crucial in optimizing our sales strategies and ensuring the smooth functioning of our sales department. Key Responsibilities: Sales Process Optimization: Evaluate and streamline the end-to-end sales processes, from lead generation to contract closure. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Develop and enforce sales policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the sales team. CRM and Sales Tool Support: Manage tasks and functional pipelines of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry and regular data cleansing to maintain a reliable and comprehensive customer database. Collaborate with internal teams to customize and optimize the CRM platform to meet the specific needs of the sales department. Manage use and functionality of field sales tools to improve sales success and velocity of sales activity. Oversee implementation of sales automation tools. Sales Forecasting/Budgeting and Expense Management: Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to create accurate sales forecasts Assist in the development of sales budgets and resource allocation plans based on sales forecasts and company objectives. Maintain functional team expense tracking and budget Sales Team Support: Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to facilitate smooth coordination and communication. Support the sales team in resolving operational issues and address customer escalations when necessary. Sales order support for custom activations and billing Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in sales operations, preferably within the telecommunications or fiber optic internet industry. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau). Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
