ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Product Marketing Director at Dobson plays a critical role in driving the success of our expanding product portfolio across SMB, Enterprise, and Residential sectors. With a focus on strategic direction, this role shapes product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans. In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, this position is essential for maintaining Dobson’s competitive edge and fostering revenue growth amidst fierce industry competition. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the company’s business goals. Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Translate market insights into actionable product strategies that drive growth and innovation. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are met. Coordinate product development activities closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales. Prioritize feature development and manage trade-offs to deliver maximum value to customers and business stakeholders. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and customer needs. Continuously review and adapt the roadmap based on feedback, market dynamics, and business priorities. Monitor and communicate progress on roadmap milestones, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization. Analyze key performance metrics, user feedback, and market data to drive product improvements and optimizations. Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring customer insights and feedback shape product decisions. Implement strategies to enhance product usability, satisfaction, and overall user experience. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product management. Attend conferences, participate in networking events, and engage with industry experts to stay informed and share knowledge within the organization. Identify innovation and competitive differentiation opportunities by adopting new technologies and methodologies. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related roles, preferably within the telecommunications industry. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
