DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- In this position, you will be responsible for organizing, executing, and upholding policies and procedures to establish an efficient safety program. You will oversee programs to guarantee adherence, deliver training, and carry out on-site visits for all aspects of the accident/injury prevention program (AIPP). Moreover, you will lead the Accident Review Committee, examine all severe injuries and accidents, and ensure that corrective action plans are implemented. You will offer advice to management in creating and executing safety-related corrective measures. Ensure that follow-up assessments of corrective actions are conducted and assist with safety concerns in their respective areas. Periodically conduct site visits to ensure safety compliance. Coordinate all accident (personal injury, fleet, and equipment) reports. Conduct thorough accident and injury investigations within the specified timeframes and route Accident Packages through the Accident Review Committee. Enter all inspections, accidents, and injuries into safety databases and manage the processing of the necessary paperwork.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Oil City.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Safety Specialist 1 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of professional experience in conducting safety inspections, safety investigations, or safety training; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
Special Requirement:
- You must obtain an active Advanced Safety Certificate issued by the National Safety Council's Safety Training Institute within two years of starting in this job.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License.
