JBT Corporation Field Service Technician in Ohio, United States

Overview JBT Diversified Food & Health is a prime solutions and equipment provider within the fruit and vegetable industry segment. From preparation to preservation, conveying and packaging, our comprehensive range of technologies captures the freshness, taste, texture, appearance and nutritional value of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities Install, rebuild, repair, and troubleshoot high speed bottle and can beverage filling and seaming equipment at customer facilities all over the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. In-house training in Cleveland, Ohio or Baltimore, Maryland areas. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with prior mechanical experience (2+ years preferred) Basic machining and welding skills preferred Own basic mechanic’s tools (programs available) Familiarity with dimensional tolerances and ability to understand blueprints Electrical aptitude and experience a plus Basic computer and smart device competency Ability to lift (5-100 pounds), bend, crawl, kneel twist, climb and stand for extended periods of time Ability and willingness to travel as required and on short notice - extensive travel October – May Excellent customer service skills Strong mathematical aptitude (including understanding fractions and decimals) Ability to plan and complete projects in allotted time frame while maintaining safe work practices and accuracy Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work professionally even when under pressure Self-driven and self-reliant Good judgement, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills Reliable, dedicated, and responsible worker BENEFITS JBT Corporation offers the growth potential of a company with a developing technology that is unique in its field, plus frequent company-sponsored events and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage and 401(k) plan.
