The Hershey Company Customer Sales Executive, Kroger Division & Operations in Ohio

Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Cincinnati Preferred, Remote Considered * Summary:* The Kroger Divisional CSE Leader (Customer Sales Executive) is responsible for profitably growing Kroger and Hershey’s business to achieve objectives and plans, including net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin with a focus on our Confection and Grocery businesses. Responsibilities include business planning & analysis, creating valued business partnerships with key contacts at Kroger Divisions & within Hershey, and achieving mutually beneficial agreements through skilled negotiation and understanding of the customer’s business. The CSE will also be responsible for collaborating with GO CSEs to communicate sales plans to our retail teams across all 22 divisions, leveraging technology to capitalize on key strategic projects for Operations and driving strategic thought leadership through joint business planning at their respective Kroger Divisions. The position will also have leadership over all divisional CSEs and will help coach, lead, and support those roles as their direct manager. * Responsibilities:* • Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin targets for Kroger by simulating and planning incremental volume, pre and post analysis, and displaying core competencies and behaviors. This includes managing Kroger Divisional trade funds, in compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley policies, to achieve profitable sales growth. • Effectively utilize Hershey’s and customers analytical tools (e.g. PlanEx, IRI, Market 6, Stratum, etc.) and leverage to drive profitable and predictable sales results. • Expand Key strategic Projects within Operations & ensure efficient communication with Retail • Create annual merchandising plans and post-audits • Develop Joint Business Plans for all Divisions • Conduct Kroger Divisional KDM appointments, partnering with Hershey support sharing in growth strategies • Develop Kroger Divisional Strategic Partnerships beyond the buying desk • Work collaboratively with Hershey GO CSEs (Everyday, Seasons & Snacks), Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Shopper Insights, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Retail Leaders, IS and other cross functional partners. * Qualifications:* * Education:* Bachelor's degree required * Experience:* At least 7-8 years relevant sales experience #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
