Leavitt Corporation d/b/a Leavitt Theatre, 259 Main St., Ogunquit, ME 03907, 207-646-3123, has a need for 4 Cooks for temporary, full-time employment. Prep cooking, including preparing ingredients for service according to the chefs guidelines (measuring, washing vegetables, cutting meats, and other meal prep). Cooking food to order, including making recipes for service according to the chefs guidelines using various kitchen equipment such as an oven, flat top grill, and microwave. Make certain all food is cooked to required temperature and to the specifications of the chef. Plate all food to kitchen guidelines. Keep cooking utensils clean and orderly / located in proper locations. Inventory food supplies, both in dry storage and in refrigeration, including rotating food product stock utilized in cooking. Keep all food labeled and managed properly for freshness and quality. Be mindful of safe practices in the kitchen involving all equipment and handling of food and supplies. Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work space. Maintain supply and inventory of kitchen cleaning supplies utilized during cooking. Communicate with chef and/or management regarding kitchen. No education or experience required. On-the-job training provided. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Workers are needed from 04/01/2025 - 11/30/2025. Employer will offer 40 hours per week, rotating shifts Monday - Sunday, 4 p.m. - 12 a.m. Shifts may change slightly based on restaurant hours during the season. Night and weekend work is required. Rate is \$19.27 per hour. Optional overtime may be available depending on workload. Overtime rate is \$28.91 per hour. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday by direct deposit. Employer will make all deductions from the worker\'s paycheck required by law. No daily transportation to restaurant provided to workers. No housing provided. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker via check for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide via check reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where employer has appropriately reported a worker\'s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed via check in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
