The Mainstay Database Technician will assist in managing and responding to incoming communications while maintaining the knowledge bank associated with the Ask Waldo chat system.Roles and ResponsibilitiesStudent & Community CommunicationRespond to incoming messages via text and web chat to address concerns and answer questions about services,opportunities or needsRefer current and prospective students to appropriate Weber State services or departmentsOther duties as assignedKnowledge Bank MaintenanceMeet deadlines for assigned projectsUpdate understandings in Mainstay messaging systemReach out to departments on campus with incoming questions and craft responses using appropriate languageCoordinate with different areas on campusAbility to learn and use Mainstay platform and Google SuiteOther duties as assigned
