Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber County.

We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs.

Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions.

Job Overview

General Job Function: Support community coalitions in Morgan and Weber Counties. Synthesize the data from prevention strategies in Morgan and Weber Counties, as well as existing data sources, and graphically represent them through data visualization. Must be proficient in Canva, LucidChart, or similar applications. 1. Must have good communication skills, able to develop and revise documents and projects based upon input and feedback, good grammar and punctuation. This includes technical writing skills. 2. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs and occasionally work late and/or work on a Saturday.

-Utilize Canva, LucidChart, or similar applications to share data from local and state sources, and evaluation outcomes from programs and strategies to Weber Human Services' Board, community coalitions, and funders. -Be proficient in working with data and information to create visual representations, such as charts, graphs, animations, dashboards and other presentation formats. -Work closely with Prevention Services Coordinator to collect and translate data from programs' pre- and post-surveys -Assist with coalition support tasks -Assist with special events and training. -Participate in at least one community coalition. This includes being active on at least one workgroup. -Produce deliverables that can be shared with other teams within WHS, community coalitions, and community partners. -Understand Prevention Science, Prevention Coalition work, and Community Centered Evidence Based Prevention. -Must be able to effectively communicate, including through Email or text messaging. -Be willing to travel as necessary and attend assigned training.. -Must be able to work independently and be a self starter. Participate in WHS team meetings, community events, and related training as requested. Attend WHS general staff meetings a minimum of 75%.

SAPST Certified, bachelor's degree in public health, social work or another related field. Knowledge of and ability to model healthy life skills. Public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to plan, organize, and present presentations. Group facilitation skills. Ability to work well with people of all ages and backgrounds. Must be willing to complete and criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Must have a valid Utah Driver License. Must have own transportation.
