Designing the future

As an Electronics Engineer at Universal Robots, you will be part of a high-performance development team designing the future products in the market. Technology is moving fast, and UR wants to be at the forefront pushing the limits and exceeding our customer expectations. Therefore, you are expected to master design skills like high-speed communication design, power electronics and Motor design & control. You will also

  • Improve our current products for production, quality and cost.

  • Use and improve our processes and procedures.

  • Develop tools to help ensure design verification.

We are looking for a creative design Engineer, who is passionate about electronic designs and can work closely with a cross-functional team to design high quality products to perfection - solving our customer needs now and in the future. You feel good about working in a vibrant environment which will challenge your professional skills.

We aim to find a candidate, who:

  • Has a BSc/MSc in electronics engineering, ideally with 3-5 years of relevant R&D experience

  • Is creative and have a broad knowledge in electronics

  • Has experience with robust design and design specification, e.g. FMEA, DFM, DFA and WCA

  • Preferably has knowledge of test setup and verification/validation methodologies

    As a person, you are:

  • Result-oriented

  • Independent, but still a team player

  • Motivated by solving complex tasks

  • Practical and act accordingly

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

    We expect you to be flexible and a fast-learner as our set-up is continuously evolving. You are excited about development and results, and you have an analytical approach to your work. You are structured and know how to work independently as well as part of a team. You thrive in a busy working environment and like solving complex tasks.

    The role is based in our HQ in Odense, DK.
