ACE PRECISION Laser Technician in OCONOMOWOC, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ocnwc - Oconomowoc, WI Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Description Multiple Shift Options!All Experience Levels Encouraged to Apply! First shift: Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Split Shift: Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM -11:00 PM (Includes 10% Shift Premium). Second Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Includes 10% Shift Premium). Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Includes 10% Shift Premium). JOB SUMMARY: Operates CO2, Yag, or Flat Cut laser equipment to machine parts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works from sketches, setup sheets, and related documents. Starts and observes laser operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Recognizes and reports process variations, operational sequences, and dimensional and finish deviations. Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications through use of various inspection measuring equipment, including micrometers, pin gages, and verniers. Deburrs parts as necessary. Works under direct supervision. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern laser operations. Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning. Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures. Accurately completes all required documentation. Meets attendance policy requirements. Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Requires ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions. REASONING ABILITY: Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
