REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing FUNCTION: Assist the marketing team with day-to-day operations on various projects, including digital initiatives and printed collateral. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in creating visually appealing graphics for both digital and print, including digital campaigns, brochures, advertisements, and landing pages. Work with existing creative assets, deliver supporting designs, and execute original designs based on supporting strategy and brand guidelines. Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to develop and execute design concepts for various projects. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Internship length: May to August. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education/Training: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Graphic Design or related field. Completed coursework in image editing, illustration, page layout, typography, and color theory. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications-specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Skills & Knowledge: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines. Detail oriented and accurate. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Knowledge of design principles: eye flow, balance, repetition, alignment, contrast, and emphasis. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-specifically PowerPoint and Word.
