Were seeking for a DSP-1 Behavior Interventionist to join our TERI team!

The DSP-1 Behavior Interventionist is responsible for supporting children, teens, and adults with intellectual disabilities in a social recreation program by working 1:1 assisting with interaction skills and managing challenging behaviors. This role involves building strong relationships and maintaining open communication with staff members, identifying and addressing potential issues, and providing positive behavior support. The DSP-1 Behavior Interventionist focus on promoting social and emotional development while implementing behavior interventions and strategies tailored to the needs of each person.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

Participate in small group activities aimed at promoting socialization and skill building.

Accompany individuals on community outings fostering independence and community integration.

Manage and address challenging behaviors in a safe and professional manner adhering to established protocols and procedures.
