Job Description

This position is an active on-the-floor support position which could entail standing for long periods of time. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to work with hands repetitively (grabbing, handling, picking, packing, processing, etc.). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

· Measure and inspect production parts for quality

· Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality of parts being produced

· Data entry of inspection results

· Submit customer PPAPs, FMEAs, and dimensional results

· Use tape measurers, calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other other various inspction instruments

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school or equivalent 

· Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions

· Must have the the ability to read measurement tools

· Legibly and accurately record production performance data in a timely fashion

· Minimum three years of manufacturing experience

· Basic computer skills, FARO experience is a plus.
