Job Title: Administrative/Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining customer relationships through processing requests, maintaining their accounts and responding to their inquiries

  • Provide administrative and operational support the CS/AR Manager

  • Perform general administrative tasks

  • Answer and direct phone inquiries

  • Greet visitor and guest warmly, ensuring they are properly signed into the building and direct to the appropriate department or employee

  • Learn different areas of daily needs to serve as a back-up for different daily tasks when necessary

  • Exercise considerable judgement and discretion

  • Compose, type and distributes professional correspondence and memoranda, E-mails, and faxes

  • Maintain filing system

  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School degree

  • 1-2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant a plus

  • Knowledge of office equipment, printer, and fax machines

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a duration of 6 months

Work Site

This is a fully onsite opportunity located in Oakland, NJ

Work Environment

This site manufactures spice ingredients so this person should be aware that there are a lot of smells in the facility!
