Senior SOX Auditor
Currently working with a multi-billion dollar public company that is currently seeking a Senior SOX Auditor to support the SOX and Internal Audit group. Position is a growth role as the company continues to expand. Company has a very strong long term history and reputation for success and is very profitable. Overall culture is looking for someone that wants to join a growing and stable company for at least the mid term and grow within the overall team in the future. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of public accounting experience and/or SOX background. Please for further consideration.

responsibilities:
Duties:
Perform SOX 404 internal control risk assessment, planning, walkthrough, and testing.
Identify opportunities for internal control improvements and communicate recommendations.
Perform financial statement review procedures.
Provide assistance to the external auditors in the performance of their activities.
Perform special project work and other procedures as necessary.
Develop and maintain technical proficiency and current knowledge of professional standards, including accounting, auditing, and financial reporting requirements.

Skills:
BS in Accounting, Finance, or related
Knowledge of SOX 404 and GAAP.
Self-motivated, proactive, quick learner with a desire to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
