Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (EE) with a background in PCBA hardware design to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to manage the lifecycle design of benchtop and handheld laboratory test equipment and coordinate with our outsource manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle design of benchtop and handheld laboratory test equipment.

  • Coordinate with outsource manufacturing partners to ensure efficient production processes.

  • Perform PCB layout and design tasks using Altium.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.

Essential Skills - Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and 5+ Years of experience:

  • Electrical engineering

  • Hardware design

  • PCB design + layout

  • Proficiency in Altium

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in lifecycle design management

  • Strong coordination skills with manufacturing partners

Work Environment

The position is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite in Oakdale. You will be working alongside a small team consisting of 2 electrical engineers, 1 firmware engineer, and 2 mechanical engineers. The initial contract duration is 6 months with a possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
