Amentum Senior Electrical Engineer in OAK RIDGE, Tennessee

Candidates must demonstrate experience with the following, but not limited to, power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash and relay coordination studies, electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams, sizing and specifying electrical equipment, an advanced level of understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection, communication and security systems, along with good skills in interacting with other disciplines, project support groups, vendors and client representatives as appropriate on assigned projects and responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations, studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project. Candidates must know SKM, ETAP, or other power system analysis software, be proficient in 2D AutoCAD, and have excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Minimum Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program with 10+ years of experience in the nuclear or commercial industry.

A professional Engineer license in Electrical Engineering is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
