Position Summary/ Primary Responsibilities
RSI is currently recruiting aReindustrialization Strategy Manager. The RI Strategy Manager will be responsible for working with multiple partners to maximize reindustrialization opportunities on the Oak Ridge Reservation. Key partners include ETEC, Roane County, Anderson County, City of Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge IDB, TVA and the University of Tennessee. This position will need to understand industry needs along with DOE requirements for property transfer and beneficial reuse. A thorough understanding of workforce development needs for UCOR, DOE and new industries will be needed in order to develop strategies and collaborative solutions to develop strategies for solving this important issue.
Job Knowledge/Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of technological growth and opportunities for new businesses locating to Oak Ridge, including nuclear energy.
Knowledge of TVA, UT and local government's role in building a nuclear innovation hub.
Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple organizations.
Experiencing in building new partnerships and expanding existing partnerships to achieve shared goals, especially related to workforce development.
Required Education and Experience
- Master's Degree and 12 years’ experience; or Bachelors and 15 years
