Aerotek HVAC Technician in Oak Ridge, Tennessee
A local, family-owned HVAC company is seeking a residential HVAC service installer to join their rapidly expanding company in Oliver Springs, TN! Candidates will be installing new units, providing urgent repairs, and enrolling clients in service plans, among other duties.
Job Responsibilities:
• Diagnose electrical problems within a unit
• Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage for HVAC systems
• Maintain van and company vehicle.
• Run service and maintenance calls as scheduled and according to policy and procedure
• Diagnose HVAC failures and successfully repair them
• Test and braze line sets, evacuate and charge systems
• Ability to complete simple low and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners
• Follow dispatching procedures before and after each call
• Keep company vehicle & property clean and well maintained
• Be available to perform your on-call duties when scheduled (only 1 weekend a month)
• Follow through all sales to completion
Qualifications:
• EPA Certification
- Nate Certification a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's license
• At least 2 yeard experience and/or certified HVAC tech training
• Ability to work from a ladder
• Ability to lift 60lbs to waist level
Work Environment:
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, on call one weekend a month
Candidate will need to provide their own basic HVAC tools
