Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a dermatology clinic. The position requires availability between 7 AM and 7 PM, working 8-9 hour days, 4-5 days per week, with occasional Saturdays (1 per month).
Responsibilities
Assist patients in person and over the phone.
Assist with procedures.
Manage 2-4 patients per hour.
Handle refill requests.
Process fax authorizations.
Perform front desk work.
Essential Skills
Experience as a Medical Assistant, particularly in dermatology or surgical procedures.
Ability to assist patients effectively.
Proficiency in handling refill requests and fax authorizations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with EMR.
Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
Experience in dermatology or procedure-based settings is strongly preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
