Job Title: *Construction & Maintenance Project Lead *Location: *Cornet Bay, WA *Closes: *February 4th, 2025, at 12 p.m. PST *Position works four (4) days a week, 10 hours per day. Core working hours are typically 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday. This position requires frequent overnight travel between parks and statewide for meetings, training, and other field work. **

Please Note: This position may be filled at the Construction and Maintenance Project Lead level or as a Lead in-training at the Construction and Maintenance Project Specialist or Maintenance Mechanic 1 level depending on qualifications. Candidates hired at the Construction and Maintenance Project Specialist or Maintenance Mechanic 1 level will be required to successfully complete an in-training program prior to promoting to the goal class of Construction and Maintenance Project Lead.* *

The Marine Crew is a professional and hard-working team of four that maintains marine and freshwater infrastructure at all Washington State Parks. The Marine Crew's mission is to serve the public by maintaining and enhancing public access features such as piers, docks, boat launches, and buoys.

Based at beautiful Deception Pass State Park, the crew travels by boat and vehicle extensively throughout the state. Being outside and on the water, accomplishing complex and challenging projects, traveling to amazing saltwater and freshwater parks, and working closely with a skilled crew all make the Marine Crew the best place to work at Washington State Parks. Duties

This position serves as one of three highly trained and proficient members of the Marine Crew at Cornet Bay. The Marine Crew provides complex marine-related construction and maintenance services to State Parks throughout Washington State. Under the supervision of the Marine Crew Construction & Maintenance Supervisor, this position coordinates with the Statewide Marine Facilities Manager to determine maintenance priorities.
