About the role:

We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our Electrical Team at our Twentymile Mine location. The Hourly Pay Range for this position is between $37.30 and $46.90 depending on experience.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. The scope of your role will be to serve as an Electrician for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all Mine Electrical Systems including Surface and Underground Electrical Power Distribution. This role offers a great opportunity for growth and to expand knowledge and skills.

Duties will include: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all Mine Electrical systems on Surface and Underground Electrical Power Distribution. Rotating work including some weekends

Physical requirements: Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time on uneven, rocky surfaces for up to the entire length of the shift Must have the ability to be seated for up to 4 hours to operate equipment or vehicles Must have the ability to walk for up to 4 hours at a time. Will be required to walk through different sections of the mine with varying degrees of clearance and headroom Must have the ability to wear required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHA Must have the ability to climb up and down stairs/steps and climb on and off equipment and ladders. Must have the ability to lift/raise up to 80 lbs. without mechanical assistance frequently during the course of work shift. Must have the ability to work in extreme conditions, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, dust, mud, water varying levels of noise from low to high decibels, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area The job requires that you be able to work various shifts (required shifts include days, evenings and nights with rotating schedules, weekends and holiday

Individuals must meet the minimum vison requirements of at least 20/40 acuity (Snellen) with or without correction and at least 70 field of vision in horizontal meridian measured.
