About the Team:
We are looking for a Technical Sale Engineer in the US to support the Dassault Systemes business related to next-generation cloud-based Manufacturing Execution Systems in the Pharmaceutical industry. You will have experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects .You will look to further your professional career by applying your technical experience in a commercial business environment. You will report to the manager of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Improve customer's critical business issues to position the value of our manufacturing offering against competition
- Manage technical software evaluations, workshops and demonstrations
- Lead technical discussions around commercial manufacturing strategy, including detailed possible effects of our solution for the shop floor
- Support business development activities, including outreach strategy and messaging
- Prepare and deliver presentations to business and informatics representatives, from a user to a C-level perspective
- Promote responses regarding Request for Information and Request for Proposals (RFI and RFP)
Qualifications:
- Experience with learning
- BS, M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Pharmaceutical or related fields
- 3 or more years of experience with Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) and MES is required, including shop floor experience
- Experience selling enterprise software following a structured sales process
- Team player and independent contributor
- Must be able to travel (30-50%), including overnight and international travel
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on many factors including function, level, candidate experience, and geographic location.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $80,250 - $107,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is $84,750 - $113,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $75,750 - $101,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $72,000 - $96,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $75,750 - $101,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
