Medidata's Rave EDC (Electronic Data Capture) is the most advanced, robust, and secure EDC system for clinical trial site, patient, and lab data capture and management.

Rave EDC is the cornerstone of the Medidata Platform - the unified clinical research platform that connects processes, eliminates data reconciliation, and delivers cross-functional and cross-study data insights.

As a Rave Platform Engineering Team Member, the intern will be part of a collaborative team that develops software and provides technical and diagnostic support to delight our customers. Responsibilities may include:

• Apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, source code control and review
• Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for software applications
• Refactor code to reduce technical debt
• Keep up to date with the software development and testing industries
• Follow Medidata's Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all software meets regulatory and company requirements
• Work with Agile team members, particularly Software Quality Assurance and Product Management, to write clear, concise and comprehensive feature files
• Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives

Your Competencies:

• Experience programming in .NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience or familiarity with Source Code Control
• Strong time management and problem solving skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize activities to achieve results

Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Preferably in Senior year
• Minimum GPA 3.0

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $32.00 per hour with a $3,500 sign on bonus.
