What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planning Specialist with importation expertise to ensure seamless supply to our production line. The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply process, from creating purchase orders (PO) using SAP to tracking materials until they are readily available on the production line. This role involves collaboration with suppliers in diverse locations such as Monterrey (MTY), Hungary, Brazil, and China, managing interplant POs.
Responsibilities
Managed parts forecasting and order fulfillment activity.
Ensure parts availability within regional material hubs by preparing purchase orders to obtain parts, following up with a team of buyers to gain delivery commitments on open purchase orders, and proactively identifying potential shortages and initiating actions to resolve these.
Monitor and provide analysis on vendor performance to ensure on-time supply chain.
Responsible for managing post-sales reverse logistics providers such as Customs brokers, transportation and logistics companies, recycling vendors, hubs and warehouses.
Responsible for overall logistics provider management, including day-to-day operational processes, operational KPI, and cost assurance according to corporate goals.
Establishes productive working relationships within the Service Organization to improve overall Service KPIs continuously.
Follow up in transit components with Lenovo Logistics and vendors
Coordinate daily status for missing parts report.
Execute weekly forecast analysis and resulting action items
Daily interlock with process customers to identify operation priorities.
Product transition management
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications: [JP1]
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in SAP and Excel for order creation, reporting, and tracking.
Familiarity with global procurement processes and collaboration with suppliers worldwide.
Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with global stakeholders.
Knowledge of importation processes, including air and sea freight, regulatory compliance, and permit requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-departments.
Experience in logistics operations.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in tracking and reporting.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including order execution and global procurement.
Proactive problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and ensure a smooth supply chain operation.
Supply Management working with OE & logistics for ETA assurance
