We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Novi, MI team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Part 201 Site Assessments, Reporting, Remedial, Due Care Compliance, Municipal/State
• Develop and implement scopes of work for commercial and industrial assessment and remediation projects.
• Provide work assignments to support staff in execution of awards.
• Contact/meet with existing clients. Identify and develop new clients.
• Manage current assessment and remediation projects.
• Stewardship of the Atlas Health & Safety program and procedures.
• Environmental Compliance
• Assist clients with complying with local, regional, state, and federal regulations for various programs including Part 201, RCRA, CWA, CERCLA.
• Due Diligence, Phase I ESA and Phase II ESA reviews
• Construction Soil and Groundwater Management
• Brownfield Experience, Grant Writing, Administration and Assessment
Minimum Requirements:
• Familiar with Part 201 / Michigan regulations, Due Care Compliance , VIAP
• BS in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or equivalent
• 8 to 15 years’ experience environmental project site assessments, management and remediation activities
• Construction soil and groundwater management (permitting/treatment/discharge) / POTW/NPDES
• Minimum of five years as a supervisor or Project Manager
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Willing to assist in business development.
• Working Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PDF, & Outlook
Technical Requirements:
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification required
• Extensive knowledge of standard operating procedures and guidance documents for environmental assessments in Michigan under Part 201, Brownfield Project Oversight/Grant applications, EGLE guidance (201, VI, NAPL, Soil Background, Incremental Sampling for site assessments on redevelopment projects, and ASTM standards for Environmental Site Assessments.
• Experience working with one or more of the following laws and regulations – CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, Part 201, 115, 31.
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
• Ability to travel locally, up to 10% of the time
• PE or PG certification is considered a plus
• MSHDA/HUD/NEPA experience is considered a plus
