The company is currently seeking an experienced Parts & Service Sales Representative Team Leader.

 

Responsibilities

 

Position Summary/ Primary Purpose This position will be part of the Customer Service Team with primary responsibilities to call on existing AGV and Airport Technology customers and sub-contractors of existing installed systems to promote and sell Spare Parts and all types of Service Support contracts.  This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service and will work as part of both the Customer Service and the Smart handling Sales Teams.  This position is being added to the Customer Service Team to help grow the revenue and profit of the Customer Service Department.  There will be established Sales goals each year for this position.  This position will be compensated with a base salary plus a commission plan.

Major Areas of Responsibility Responsible for Parts & Service direct sales for Customer Service. Participates in weekly sales meetings with the group to discuss major quotes, target new accounts, and establish weekly goals. Monitor weekly call reports and plant coverage. Work with management to establish pricing, with emphasis on increasing margins. Establish sales goals with the Sales Manager. Selling Webb AGV Parts and Service contracts to existing Webb AGV and Airport customers. Work with Webb Customer Service Support Groups. Determine customer requirements, group, and prepare proposals. Develop yearly plan and strategy with the Sales Manager to continue growing the Sales and Revenue of Customer Service. Report weekly to the Sales Manager on Sales opportunities. Achieve sales goals established by Management. Develop part estimates as required. Prospect for new business opportunities. Respond to customer's problems and concerns. Manage expenses. Support other sales team members as required. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge Knowledge of Automation products such as Conveyors and Automatic Guided Vehicles is a benefit. Must have good understanding of Microsoft Office applications

 

Qualifications

 

Skills & Abilities Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to travel. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and stress due to deadlines. Must be able to make cold sales calls to establish new customer relationships.

Education & Experience Business or Technical degree such as Engineering or Sales is helpful. Minimum of 5 years' sales experience with automation equipment. Must sign Webb's Employee Invention, Non-Solicitation Agreement.

Demonstrated Physical Abilities Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
