Credit Audit & Compliance Team Leader
Salary: From £30,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Working style: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site
Location: Calverton, Nottinghamshire
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Audit & Compliance Team leader working on a hybrid basis. This position is based in Calverton, Nottinghamshire, UK.

Let’s Talk about the Role
As the Compliance & Audit Team Leader you will be responsible for revision of Credit Policy and ensuring and monitoring compliance with Credit Policy, SOX and audit requirements, which includes performing internal department audits and reviewing processes. You will also manage a team of 3 Compliance and Audit Controllers supporting the work you do.
How You Will Make a Difference
Conduct periodic audits of key areas, review results with the management team and put action plans in place to address key issues
Responsible for monitoring and communication of the SOX requirements of the department
Maintain a compliance and audit model, ensuring the departments Credit Policy is being adhered to
Be the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the completion of requested tasks
Ensuring direct reports deliver results and support to the SLA’s or deadlines
Responsible for the constant review of team’s and department’s processes and activities for accuracy, efficiency and fit for purpose
Skills for Success
You should be someone who has experience leading a team within a credit environment who has:
Deep understanding of the internal and external audit processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
Leadership Skills – managing, motivating and training a team of 3
Be comfortable to make a decision, be assertive and adaptable
Strong stakeholder management, negotiating and influencing skills
Practical knowledge in accounting/finance would be beneficial
Experience from previous accounting roles, it would be advantagious to have previously used SAP
