Actalent QC Equipment Technician in Norwood, Massachusetts
Job Description
The QC Equipment Technician will assist with bioassay and microbiology equipment qualification, minor repair, and calibration for use in various laboratories. They will also assist with the transition of new software onto several pieces of equipment. The technician will track all equipment, including model and serial number, for the completion of tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist with bioassay and microbiology equipment qualification, minor repair, and calibration.
Help transition new software onto various pieces of equipment.
Track all equipment, including model and serial number, for task completion.
Oversee QC micro release testing to move samples through the process.
Essential Skills
Experience with lab equipment and environmental monitoring.
Knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ processes.
Experience in bioassay, microbiology, and quality control.
Understanding of method validation and assay management.
Proficiency in equipment life cycle management and asset management.
Ability to troubleshoot and validate equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS or Masters degree in Biology or Microbiology.
5+ years of previous QC micro experience.
