QC Team Lead

Job Description

The Team Leader Quality Control leads and manages activities supporting the laboratory function in daily operations and testing for commercial products. This role involves anticipating and resolving problems independently while adhering to SOPs and GMP regulations, monitoring scientific and financial progress of projects, and potentially having direct reports. The Team Leader reports to the Manager Quality Control or Director QC and may oversee Chemist-analysts, Microbiologists, and Metrologists.

Hard Skills

  • 3-5 years' experience within pharmaceutical OR related industry required

  • Must have supervisory/lead/management experience

  • Wet chemistry laboratory techniques required (HPLC, GCMS, UV-VIS, etc.)

  • cGXP requirements

  • FDA/USP/ICH guidelines

  • SOP adherence

  • GMP regulations

  • validation, qualification and calibration of laboratory equipment

  • method development and validation
