The Senior Counsel, Global Investigations will perform government-facing, regulatory, and significant internal investigations for GE Aerospace and report to the Chief Counsel for Global Investigations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Performing complex and cross-jurisdictional governmental, regulatory, and internal investigations that pose potential legal and reputational risk for GE Aerospace and its businesses. This role is designed to provide second-chair support as a team member on highly complex matters while leading smaller and medium-sized matters.
Managing large data and document reviews with efficiency, focus, and technological sophistication
Supporting interactions with enforcement agencies
Contributing to thoughtful, meaningful, and sustainable responses to investigative findings
Partnering with business leaders on internal, cross-functional process improvement
Learning and leading continuous cycles of improvement through FLIGHTDECK
Helping to address emerging issues and trends through policy guidance and training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
J.D. or equivalent law degree from a recognized international institution
8 years’ experience handling complex white-collar investigations with the U.S. Department of Justice, in a law firm, or in-house
Experience in the fields of aviation, aerospace, or highly technologically advanced industrial manufacturing
Demonstrated capacity to manage complex, fast-paced, and high-risk investigations
Experience managing product safety and quality investigations within the framework of U.S. and global flight safety regulation
Must have ability to travel up to 30% domestic and international
This is a HYBRID role that required to be in office onsite 3 days per week
Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:
US False Claims Act with an emphasis on government procurement and contracts
Governmental contracts
US Foreign Corruption Practices Act (FCPA) and other US and international anti-corruption laws
International trade and sanctions laws
Anti-trust laws
Intellectual property theft / economic espionage / computer crimes
Complex frauds
Desired Characteristics
Demonstrated analytical ability, outstanding communication and writing skills, and experience with complex white-collar investigations
Enthusiasm for forming collaborative and productive relationships at every level of the Company and with a diverse array of business functions

High level of cultural sensitivity, flexibility, and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively within GE Aerospace’s multicultural environment

Experience with the aviation and aerospace industrial sector
Language skill (Mandarin, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, French, or Spanish) preferred
The base pay range for this position is $ 168,600.00 - 224,900.00 - 281,200.00 Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 9/30/24
