Omega Engineering, Inc. Description:
The Controller - Omega plays a key role in the DwyerOmega Finance team Controller - Omega engages with their team to ensure timely and accurate accounting for the Omega brand and manufacturing sties supports forecasting and budgeting processes for the Omega business, manages payables department for Omega, and partners with the Corporate Controller, VP FPandA and CFO on analyzing business performance and developing actions.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage and grow a high performing team of accounting and finance professionals
- Omega finance and accounting leader, managing both direct and dotted line reports
- Ensure accurate forecasts for the business
- Manage and drive a timely and accurate monthly closing process for Omega USA and Canada
- Able to analyze and articulate business performance vs expected results
- Drive cash flow improvements in the payables processes
- Drive cost accounting and standard cost improvements at the manufacturing plants
Requirements:
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, MBA / CPA preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing setting and cost accounting required
- Public accounting experience a plus but not required
