Overview: ZF Test Systems develops and produces test benches for on- and off-road mobility. The Test Systems Business Unit is a special machine building branch within the ZF group, specialized in Test equipment design / installation / commissioning. With our North American Test System team, we are serving regional customers in providing turnkey Testing Solutions for their drivetrain and battery testing needs. Position Summary: The Account Representative is responsible to manage the allocated customers as a point of contact on a daily basis for all business within Test Systems North America. The Account Representative provides general support to the local functions with quotations and order processing, while working hand in hand with the new business development function as well as the service function.

What you can look forward to as an Account Representative:

  • Responsible for the customer support of ZF Test Systems in North America (main commercial contact for equipment within the operational customer locations). Support the communication with customers and suppliers.

  • Promote sales of Test Systems offerings as the contact for the allocated accounts including definition of scope, calculation, and quote generation.

  • Provide regular analysis and account management representation by preparing or responding to pre-award quotation requests and awarded program requests.

  • Support in the sales business planning process.

  • Review customer data portals, download contracts/reports, and distribute as necessary.

  • Maintain and update a variety of department files, lists, records, charts, and worksheets.

  • Create purchase requisitions in SAP. SAP key user for ZF Test Systems North America.

  • Responsible for customer order processing (Receiving orders, entering in SAP, ordering necessary materials/services, following-up on deliveries, invoicing, and following-up on open payments).

Your profile as an Account Representative:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales function.

  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management.

  • Solid organization and time/project management skills.

  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Solid interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.

  • Basic ERP knowledge for order processing and parts ordering.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • SAP knowledge for order processing and parts ordering (Module MM and SD).

  • 2+ years of experience in capital equipment industries.

  • Experience in sales calculation and quotation processes.

  • Experience in the Automotive industry.
