The HR Manager is an individual contributor that is responsible for supporting our South Africa office. You’ll collaborate closely with the MEA HR Team, the South Africa General Manager, and other business leaders. Your responsibilities encompass HR administration, process efficiency, and maintaining confidentiality. We value effective communication and alignment with our business strategy. This position is onsite at our Northriding location.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Partner with hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment for the region to include smooth onboarding for new joiners as well as Headcount planning,

  • Prepare offers (new hire or salary reviews/promotions) and able to perform compensation analysis to make the best recommendation based on market information and internal benchmarks

  • Manage performance management on the ground ensuring leaders are following through with the annual process as per global policy and procedures, guiding managers on ensuring differentiation on the rating scale, and non-bias evaluations of associates’ performance

  • Talent Management. Implement talent actions in South Africa.

  • Participate in all Employee Engagement initiatives organized by the local committee

  • Ensure the HR function fully integrates with the company’s international quality standards, setting of HR Quality objectives

  • Consults with managers on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with company policy and leveling guides.

  • Assist in monthly reporting on HR activities within the region, to include turnover, internal fill rate (IFR), time to fill and other relevant areas as requested by the MEA HR Manager.

  • Compensation and benefits : Ensure all compensation structures are in line with best practice and company compensation guidelines, job evaluations and correct remuneration structures according to market salary data, benefit administration and payroll (Input, review, reporting and completing the payroll)

  • Coordinate B-BBEE initiatives on behalf of the Company, ensuring all actions from all other departments are taken and captured in our organization scorecard, responsible and accountable to take all required actions for HR related topics.

  • Partner with EMEA HR Colleagues and Leadership to drive change initiatives

  • Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and collaborate with governmental compliance and legal agencies as needed
