    Reporting to the President of Singer H&R, the Vice President of Sales will play a critical role in driving the company’s revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. This individual will work closely with divisional General Managers and sales teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure excellence in execution across all sales initiatives.

    The VP of Sales will also be responsible for strategic input and execution resulting in achieving departmental sales growth objectives as well as management of assigned relationships dealing with related sales of commercial kitchen equipment, smallwares, and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with General Managers and sales teams across the division to align strategies, share best practices, and drive consistent results.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.

  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

  • Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities while proactively addressing potential risks.

  • Maintain tracking systems to monitor sales activities, pipeline progress, and close ratios. Use data-driven insights to evaluate performance and refine strategies.

  • Continuously support professional growth and development of sales team members

  • Build and nurture relationships with consultants, architects, and other key stakeholders to drive influence and preference for our solutions.

  • Engage in top-to-top conversations with key accounts, demonstrating exceptional closing skills and executive presence.

  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all sales-related activities.

  • Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational growth initiatives.

  • Regularly report sales performance, challenges, and opportunities to the President and executive team.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Management, or similar field.

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a track record of driving revenue growth.

  • Experience developing comprehensive sales strategies, business, and sales plans.

  • At least 5 years of industry-related experience a plus.

  • Professional presentation; is confident, assertive and displays a high level of self-esteem.

  • Time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally.

  • Strong active listening skills.

  • Ability to learn and grasp new information.

  • High level of execution of multiple projects at once.

  • Analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Self-motivated and strives to achieve all goals in a highly competitive industry and office culture.

  • Strong risk assessment skills.

  • Ability to be engaging and persuasive, while maintaining a positive and friendly outlook.

    Willingness to travel to multiple Singer locations, Sales Meetings, and Industry Events.
