    Brief Description

    The CDM Associate II, is responsible for:

  • Performing order entry and data maintenance duties, which include:

    • processing orders,
  • results, and

  • member/customer demographic changes.

  • Managing orders/requests to successful resolution, in light of multiple system interactions.

  • Relying on experience, independent judgment, and some creativity to perform the functions of the job.

  • Working under general supervision.

    Specific Duties

    Primary duties and responsibilities of the CDM Associate II:

  • Provide order processing, event registration (LMS), data maintenance, and scan/verify services, such that clean and error free data is loaded, agreed upon turnaround (TAT) time is maintained, and goals are achieved.

  • Proactively seek out all sources of input associated with an assigned task.

  • Work with other departments to ensure the most appropriate and timely response to customer account changes and assure continuity of College programs.

  • Communicate and correspond with members, customers, and vendors to resolve ordering/account/data issues (includes receiving calls in support of the Contact Center).

  • Assist with and execute ad hoc data quality projects.

  • Support system enhancements and modifications through user testing.

  • Perform functions within standard guidelines, such that department productivity and accuracy exceeds expectations.

  • Record workload and/or other statistics as required.

  • Offer support to other processors in order to meet deadlines or overcome staff shortages.

  • Perform any required equipment maintenance and upkeep.

  • Actively support the CDM team charter.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge / Skills Required / Preferred

    Personal:

  • Strong grammar and spelling aptitude.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

    Professional:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Able to meet multiple deadlines in a high volume production environment.

  • Able to analyze and solve problems, including the ability to apply business knowledge appropriately across multiple systems.

    Technical:

  • Solid keyboarding skills.

  • Technical aptitude and service orientation with good phone/communication skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft applications necessary.

    Education / Experience

    Education:

  • College preferred.

    Experience:

  • Previous experience in order processing or remittance type positions.

  • Experience with data capture, scanning, and imaging techniques preferred.

  • Experience with Oracle and database applications preferred.
