A little bit about us

As a Digital Capability Project Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting progress against key milestones from concept to completion, enabling planning and execution of projects that drive our digital transformation forward. You will also lead the change management that is required to ensure the adoption and use of new tools within our Customer Development teams. Furthermore, you will work across conventional business and functional divisions to integrate our capabilities in a comprehensive manner that delivers benefit to the entire organization.

What to Expect:

You will be responsible for bringing the vision of the Customer Development digital roadmap to life, by acting as project manager for cross functional projects that enable faster and better decision-making by harnessing the power of digital capabilities.

A day in the life:

  • Partner with IT to identify project goals, objectives, scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required to launch new tools

  • Participate in the testing and development processes, with the end goal of becoming a subject matter expert capable of sustaining the rollout and change management to embed new tools within Customer Development.

  • Leverage broad Category, Customer, Functional experience to draw linkages across traditional business and functional boundaries to create cohesive tools that consider an end-to-end approach.

  • Monitor usage rates and sustain tool relevancy by conducting ongoing reviews and reassessments of previously developed capabilities.

  • Collaborate with IT to develop and implement sustainable data governance for sales-related data, defining functional ownership and ensuring suitable role-level security access for our diverse data sources (POS data, Nielsen, OSA).

  • Maintain a Global lens to data availability that spans various Nestle markets (eg. Shiloh, Amazon) to ensure NCI remains at the forefront of capabilities.

  • Maintain awareness of data and technological capability gaps with the selling organization, creating and executing a training plan to eliminate barriers to adoption of new tools.

  • Ensure integrity of data management and adherence to all Company principles and policies.

Role Requirements

  • 6+ years of proven experience in project management, researching, designing and deploying digital capabilities (tools/reports), using data analytics tools with an ability to design and implement standards and reports within the CPG industry.

  • Understanding of syndicated data sources example: AC Nielsen, Numerator etc. is required

  • Customer knowledge and customer facing experience on a data-enabled a strong asset

  • Relevant technical training or education (IT, data systems) considered a strong asset.

  • Post Secondary education with a focus on sales, marketing, IT or finance.

  • Have the ability to build great relationships with internal stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects.

  • Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
