What’s a typical day as a Cable Soldering Technician? You’ll be:
Assembling and repairing mechanical and electronic parts and assemblies.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and mechanical issues.
Maintaining and repairing field instrumentation, including soldering and connector replacement.
Cleaning and preparing equipment returned from field use.
Observing inventory and advising about pending low stock.
Storing tested equipment ready for field deployment.
Supporting a safe, positive, and collaborative work environment.
Demonstrating flexibility in completing assigned responsibilities.
Fulfilling other assigned responsibilities as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have experience in electronics and small parts assembly.
Possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
Are proficient in soldering.
Are able to lift and carry heavy equipment (20 kg).
Have knowledge of safety practices in mechanical and electrical repairs.
Have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
