What to Expect:
We are looking to fill an Account Manager Position to support the Montreal and Ottawa region. The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving annual sales volume and profitability targets for assigned customers and categories. This role emphasizes strategic account management, focusing on growing and retaining existing food service business by leveraging strategic relationships to deliver tailored solutions.
A day in the life
Build and maintain relationships at all levels within customer base, key decision makers, leadership teams as well as operations
Conduct business reviews (as required based on size of customer) to discover customer priorities and identify opportunities for NP and our platforms to maximize sales
Analyse customer performance (financially and operationally) to provide consultation and insights to drive portfolio results
Work collaboratively and participate in effective and strategic communication with Customer Service, Trade Assets and equipment teams, National Accounts, Marketing, Finance and third-party vendors for customer support
Maintain accurate trade asset records, coaching and at times performing preventative maintenance to minimize trade asset spend.
Sales Presentations Development: Create and customize sales presentations based on Category Roadmaps to make them relevant to customers.
Promotion Planning: Timely entry of customer and category promotion plans into C4C, Exceedra, and other planning tools, while communicating essential information with demand planners to enhance forecast accuracy.
Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all company principles and policies.
Role Requirements
Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market
Travel as needed across Quebec and Ontario
Minimum 3 years sales experience in Foodservice Sales
Post secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Sales or similar discipline;
Proficient computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong self-motivation and proactive mindset, with the capacity to think strategically to secure incremental business opportunities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of delivering effective presentations to audiences of all sizes
